Ag Processing Inc has an excellent opportunity at our Aberdeen, SD office for an Accounting Associate or Senior Accounting Associate! The person in this critical role will be responsible for accounting associate functions to support the soy processing group.
Role and Responsibilities
- Preparing daily invoices in partnership with merchandisers.
- Prepare daily balance sheets by resolving discrepancies with plants.
- Enter and reconcile daily/ new contracts from merchandisers utilizing Excel.
- Reconcile monthly freight and brokerage expenses.
- Communicate with management, co-workers, customers, and outside business contacts.
Required qualifications
- Previous accounting and general clerical experience preferred (required for Senior)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with management, merchandisers, and co-workers
- Skill in using Microsoft Office products
- Effective analytical, problem solving, planning and organization skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associates degree preferred (or equivalent required for Senior)
