The Northern State University Foundation seeks a Director of Alumni Services charged with engaging alumni, donors and friends (constituents) of the University and Foundation.

Purpose of Position:
Collaborate with Foundation and University personnel to create immediate and long-term strategies that enhance relationships with constituents of the University and Foundation.

Essential Responsibilities:

Provide leadership by managing the NSU Alumni Association committee, complimenting the efforts of the NSU Foundation and University.
Serve as a public figure, promoting the benefits of association with the Foundation and University
Communicate awareness of Foundation and University initiatives, events, activities and experiential opportunities.
Develop and maintain alumni chapters locally, regionally and nationally.
Jointly work to market the Foundation and University to constituents through multi media outlets, programming and other forms of communication.
Organize and coordinate volunteers in support of initiatives, as needed.
Collaborate with development directors on strategies to advance fundraising efforts.
Develop annual goals within the Foundation’s strategic plan.
Assist with special event planning as needed.
Additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Experience in alumni relations or related fields
Demonstrate oral, written and multi-media communication skills
Experience in promotions & marketing
