Primary Responsibilities


Build your book of business by soliciting new clients in the area.
Help maintain the current agency book of business with the current team.
Work with clients to come up with an insurance plan to protect their assets. We do not upsell, we do not stretch a customer’s wallet.
We have no sales targets whatsoever. Your responsibility is to serve the customer.
You will need to have a deep understanding of the coverage benefits in every plan we offer.

Secondary Responsibilities


When not engaged with customers you could be writing – help with marketing for the agent by creating ads or coming up with other marketing ideas.
Continually research ongoing changes within the industry to keep up to date.

Technical Requirements


You must get licensed in Property & Casualty and Crop Insurance.
You must be familiar with either Microsoft Office &/Or Google Office Suites.
Sales experience is helpful, but not required.
You must have a strong command of the English language, with the ability to deploy your language skills in the medium that best serves our customers.

Behavioral Requirements


Because you will be building up your own business, you must beself-motivated and be able to multitask.
Warmth, Empathy, Humor.
These all matter to a customer, and they matter to us.

Benefits


Insurance Agents are paid $40,000 to $50,000 per year in salary (depending on experience).
Agent receives 50% crop insurance bonus after $50k commission is earned - up to $150k. After $150k in commission is earned, the agent receives a 100% bonus on everything after.
EXAMPLE: Agent earns $200k in sales. Compensation would be: $150k - $50k (Salary) = $100k \* 50% = $50k bonus + $50k Salary + $50k (income earned above $150k) = $150k in total compensation.
50% Property & Casualty bonus on top of salary and crop insurance compensation.

Working Schedule


We are open from 8:30 am-4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
Hours and PTO are very flexible.
