Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is currently seeking a full time Material Handler to join our team in Aberdeen, SD! This person will be responsible for loading/unloading of bulk materials, rail yard switching duties and vacation relief. Employees will perform other tasks relating to shipment of products, including gauging or sampling materials for quality, as well as testing shipping tanks for leaks.
Role and Responsibilities
- Loads and unloads materials into and from vehicles. Weighs incoming and outgoing trucks.
- Operates vehicles and moves controls and observes gauges to measure, mix, and regulate chemical, liquid, or bulk solids transfer.
- Cleans and maintains material handling equipment.
- Moves materials from storage or work site to designated area, using hand truck, forklift, pallet jack, or other device.
- Maintains inventory, records and location of equipment and materials moved.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
