Agtegra Cooperative is looking for a Millwright in South Dakota and North Dakota.

Position Summary

As part of the Administrative Maintenance crew, this position is responsible for building, installing, maintaining, and repairing grain elevator and agronomy equipment and facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
Troubleshoots multiple pieces of equipment for defects and root causes of failure.
Assembles and installs equipment.
Has the ability to fabricate structures, spouting and other needed parts using multiple techniques.
Has the ability to weld, grind and torch.
Repairs and maintains machines and equipment.

Education and Experience Required

Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in on-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
