Northern State University’s Center for Statewide E-Learning invites applications for a substitute Master Teacher of English temporary position lasting approximately 12 weeks from mid-November 2023, through mid-February 2024.  South Dakota certification in secondary English is preferred.

 

The competitive daily salary is commensurate with certification and experience.

Role and Responsibilities

This online position includes answering student questions and scoring student work in English I, II (including Speech) and IV using lessons, materials and a schedule developed by the Master Teacher for these courses. The substitute may work from home or on campus at NSU.

Knowledge and Experience

Previous teaching experience; preferably in high school

Familiar and comfortable with technology

Required qualifications

South Dakota teaching certification required
